This Joy!

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."-- Romans 15:13
If I can be honest with you, I’ve been experiencing a sense of sadness lately. More like a place of disappointment. There are certain areas of my life where I felt like I’ve should have far exceeded by now, so I feel stuck. If you’ve ever had that feeling in the pit of your stomach, like anxiety or emptiness, then you know exactly what I’m referring too.
That’s the place I’ve been in these past few months. But I recognized that it was a trick of the enemy to throw me off. To plant these feelings of disappointment of failure, the mistake I made was feeding into that feeling and not combating the enemy with what I know to be true!
The word of God says, in this life you will have trouble but don’t worry because He has overcome the world. My identity in Christ reminds me I’m not a failure, I’m created in God’s image for a special time. God wants us to give every single concern to Him.
Everyday is a battlefield of the mind, how we combat that battlefield is giving God authority in your life. Reminding yourself daily, this is not my fight and I can have peace within God’s army. God’s word and my prayers with Him fuel me.
Some days I don’t feel like but I still press my even when I’m sad, hurt or struggling life. Here’s your reminder, keep putting one foot in front of the other and God will reward your faithfulness.
And dressing up a little bit always did put a smile on my face smile 😊. I pick this super cute slip skirt up from my local TJMaxx. It was on clearance for $7. Let’s just say, I grabbed a lot of colors 🥰 I was so comfortable, with this statement tee, I could wear it as high or as low as I wanted.
